Job Description Summary

The Director, Revenue Cycle Management provides leadership, vision and functional expertise for a team developing the global strategic launch, market adoption and life cycle plans for the Company’s diagnostics products.


Essential Functions

  • Help ensure financial health of the organization by leading and managing revenue cycle functions.
  • Shape and maintain the organization’s revenue cycle structure, policies and processes while delivering valuable insights to the finance and executive teams.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to provide leadership and strategic guidance to support scaling operations.
  • Provide insightful reporting to internal management, highlighting efficiencies and areas of improvement.
  • Manage the company’s end-to-end revenue cycle processes, implementing compliant best practices to benefit both the organization and the client/provider/patient.
  • Implement, maintain and upgrade as needed the company’s revenue cycle management SaaS programs for claims management.
  • Manage the relationship with outsourced billing partner to ensure accuracy and efficiency of claims handled via third party.
  • Provide timely and accurate reporting to the finance team to support the month-end close process.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Excellent Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel skills.
  • Fluent in oral and written English.


Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, healthcare management or similar field.
  • Five (5) years’ demonstrated experience in a similar role.

Work Environment

This position is based in Carlsbad, California with flexibility for hybrid work.


Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position that requires schedule flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.


Travel

This position requires up to 10% travel.
