Submarine Towed System Operations and Employment Specialist

As a program and project management specialist, you know the complexities of supporting a project from concept to completion. Many programs require a significant investment of limited resources, and it‘s imperative to keep the project on a productive path. That‘s why we need you, a program and project management specialist who can help ensure success through careful analysis and effective communication.

On our team, you‘ll implement and maintain organizational programs in support of corporate strategy. You‘ll work with key stakeholders to review contracts and project cost accounting. You‘ll help with tactical planning using resources such as Microsoft Project, and regular interactions with SMEs, schedulers, customers, or project analysts.

You Have:

  • 5+ years of experience in towed array operations and employment, including adherence to all supplemental and temporary towed array operations and employment techniques and guidelines
  • Experience with submarine sonar as a towed array operator
  • Experience using Microsoft Teams
  • Knowledge of submarine towed systems and operations and mechanical or operational limitations for all classes of submarines
  • Knowledge of ARCI SONAR computer systems and SONAR integrated software application programs as it applies to towed array power and processing
  • Ability to work well in an agile and collaborative work environment
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor‘s degree

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience as a qualified towed array handling system operator
  • Experience as a qualified towed array workstation operator
  • Experience as a qualified sonar supervisor, including as a towed array handling system supervisor
  • Experience with onload or offload of towed arrays on any platform
  • Possession of excellent written and verbal communication skills

Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual‘s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $54,000.00 to $123,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen‘s total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
