Financial Operations Manager Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee daily financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger entries.
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of financial transactions and maintenance of financial records.
  • Assist in the preparation and monitoring of the annual budget and financial forecasts.
  • Prepare and review financial reports, including monthly financial statements, variance analyses, and grant reports.
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP, non-profit accounting principles, and relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Support the preparation and coordination of the annual audit process.
  • Collaborate with program managers and other stakeholders to ensure accurate financial reporting and budget management.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports for the board of directors, funding agencies, and donors.
  • Stay current with changes in accounting standards and regulatory requirements, ensuring the organization's compliance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in financial operations, preferably within a non-profit organization
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and non-profit accounting principles.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey financial information clearly.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
