Position Overview:

We are currently in search of a highly skilled and experienced Permanent Controller to become a vital part of our finance team. This role is crucial for maintaining our financial health and demands a high degree of responsibility, analytical expertise, and leadership capabilities. The ideal candidate will possess a proven history of managing financial operations, overseeing budgeting and forecasting processes, and ensuring compliance with relevant tax regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Direct all financial operations and corporate financial planning.
2. Analyze and report financial performance to management and the board of directors, including projections and special projects as necessary.
3. Prepare both short-term and long-term financial forecasts for internal and external stakeholders.
4. Oversee audit and tax functions, coordinating with external audit firms and evaluating their performance.
5. Develop and maintain accounting and administrative policies and procedures across various activities, including financial accounting and employee relations.
6. Ensure proficiency in corporate accounting practices and compliance with GAAP, SEC regulations, and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements.
7. Manage all corporate and human resource activities, including employee benefits and retirement plans, in collaboration with satellite offices.
8. Demonstrate proven experience in leading a finance team and managing corporate finances effectively.
9. Implement strategies for cash flow management, budgeting, forecasting, and capital raising.
10. Ensure robust internal controls are established and compliance with applicable financial and tax reporting regulations.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics is required; MBA is preferred.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior finance role.
3. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is mandatory.
4. Prior experience in the financial sector with a strong grasp of financial trends is essential.
5. High proficiency in Excel and financial planning software.
6. Demonstrated strategic planning experience at a management level.
7. Strong understanding of corporate finance principles and financial strategy.
8. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
9. Strong problem-solving abilities and sound judgment based on timely analyses.
10. High integrity and dependability with a results-oriented mindset.
