POSITION SUMMARY:
The Project Analyst plays a crucial role in assisting in planning, coordination, and providing support and delivery of various procedures, projects, and implementations within the organization. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are completed on time and processes are documented and meet audit and high-quality standards. The analyst will coordinate project activities, monitor progress, mitigate risks, and communicate updates to stakeholders. Strong analytical and leadership skills are essential for building relationships with credit unions, client management, and staff, and for developing programs that enhance member service and client satisfaction.

ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS:

  1. Perform key tasks in migration and implementation efforts for new Wescom Resources (WRG) clients. When working with WRG client base, communicate and model the credit union’s service-focused culture and vision, and ensure application to CUSO operations.
  2. Assist in the planning, coordinating, and execution of projects or implementation activities under the guidance of senior team members.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather project requirements and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  4. Contribute and prepare the documentation of projects or implementations of new and current processes, products, procedures, enhancements, and best practices.
  5. Consult with departments on the creation of workflows that can be better documented and/or implemented within the Client Relationship Manager system. Also provide technical analysis and support for our products and services, collaborating with internal departments and external vendors to ensure optimal performance.
  6. Support Project Managers in creating client communication templates for organization-wide projects and consult on workflow documentation and implementation within the Client Relationship Manager platform.
  7. Facilitate communication and collaboration among project team members and conduct post-project evaluations to identify lessons learned and recommend and document process improvements.
  8. Assist in migration and conversion efforts for new WRG clients, ensuring alignment with the credit union's service-focused culture and vision.
  9. Demonstrate effective communication skills and attend regular meetings, prepare correspondence and reports, and interact with managers and senior management internally and with WRG clients.
  10. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work independently or as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
  11. Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to address potential challenges or obstacles. Also conduct post-project evaluations to assess performance, identify lessons learned, and make recommendations for process improvements.
  12. Attends regular staff meetings, prepares brief correspondence and reports, verbally communicates technical information, makes presentations to groups outside immediate work area, develops and documents procedures, follows up and researches questions and needed information, interacts with managers and senior management internally at the credit union, as well as with WRG clients regularly.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • High School Diploma Or Equivalent Experience Required.
  • Previous financial industry and customer service experience preferred.
  • Bachelor’s Degree and two to five years’ experience in a related field are required. Equivalent experience levels may offset educational requirements. Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously or working in a fast-paced environment.

COMPUTER SKILLS:

  • Proficient in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Outlook). Must be proficient in technology applications including the Credit Union’s operating system and specialized software required for performance of position.
  • Salesforce is desired but not required.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to compute rates, ratios and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

This position may qualify as Remote or Hybrid with a home base at one of Wescom’s offices. The Remote or Hybrid status may be discontinued by Wescom in its sole discretion at any time and for any reason or no reason, with or without notice by Wescom or Employee.
