What You’ll Be Doing:Growing brand awareness and new business opportunities by prospecting (calls, emails and social networking) into named accountsBuilding sales pipeline by scheduling meetings with qualified prospectsInteracting with prospects via channels such as telephone, email and social media with a high attention to detail and qualityResearch companies, identifying key players, generating interest and developing accounts to stimulate opportunitiesTransforming leads into qualified opportunities with training and support from marketing and sales to create and execute on marketing programs and outbound lead generation campaignsTracking all relevant qualification and lead management activity using SalesforceReporting on lead qualification(s) and call activity and providing feedback to marketing and sales leadership on what is working, and what is notGaining in-depth knowledge of SalesIntel product and offerings to effectively communicate value propositions, handle objections and competitive questionsBecome an expert in the growing B2B Data and Sales Intelligence industryCollaborating with your fantastic BDR teammates via slack/ zoom on strategy, culture and ways in which we can grow as a companySupporting Account Executives to build and close new deals and learning from them to become the Account Executive
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, marketing is a plus but not required1-2 years of experience in a customer-facing roleComfortable cold-calling prospects and decision-makers with high value content and messagingComfortable with ambiguity – change is constant and important to success in the start-up worldPositive and energetic communication skills, phone skills, excellent listening skills, strong writing and presentation skillsA desire to learn new skills and build a career in salesHighly adaptable to change and evolving strategyComputer savvy, able to learn new digital software tools quicklyExperience with Excel or Google SheetsWorking knowledge of LinkedIn, messaging featuresExceptional level of drive and passion for resultsSales training and Salesforce experience a plus100% reliable and detail-orientedPositive, can-do attitude and solid work ethicAbility to work in a high-energy sales team environment and commute to our Tysons Corner office 3 days each week.
