ALKU is looking for someone to be part of the Payroll team. The Payroll Coordinator will ensure the timely and proper payment of external employees, while developing processes to maintain efficiency throughout the group.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Assists in the setup and processing of payroll
- Onboarding external W2/C2C/3rd Party employees
- Tracking referral and client bonuses
- Auditing and maintaining external W2/C2C/3rd Party information within our systems
- Tracking, communicating, and paying out Canadian C2C’s
- Changes, updates, and communication
- Direct deposit and wire information
- Tax information
- Reclassification requests (works closely with Compliance teams)
- Handles W2/C2C/3rd Party off cycle payments
- Books payment in Finance OCP tracker
- Creating new processes and updates existing ones
- Creative Projects
- Creation of new processes
- Work with internal teams (finance, personnel, AP, revenue) to ensure smooth flow of employee updates
- Researching new initiatives
