Radio Account Manager

We are a leading radio station in Michigan, seeking a dynamic and results-driven Radio Account Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for radio advertising, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in sales.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing clients to understand their advertising needs and create tailored radio advertising solutions.
  • Generate new business through cold calls, networking, and client meetings.
  • Create and present compelling sales proposals to clients.
  • Manage client accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Collaborate with the production team to ensure advertisements are delivered accurately and on time.
  • Monitor and analyze advertising campaigns, providing clients with performance reports and recommendations for improvement.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and competitive landscape to identify new sales opportunities.


Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in radio advertising or media sales.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent negotiation and presentation abilities.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Self-motivated with a results-oriented approach.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
