Our client is dedicated to delivering high-quality products through innovative production processes. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Production Technician II to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial in maintaining our high standards and ensuring the smooth operation of our production area.


Position Overview: The Production Technician II is responsible for overseeing production operations, maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the lab, and ensuring the quality of the final product. This role requires the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).


Location: Milford, MA 01757

Compensation: $20/hr with overtime consideration


Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform general housekeeping to maintain a clean and safe production area.
  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of GMP requirements.
  • Safeguard facilities, equipment, products, and co-workers by adhering to safety protocols.
  • Follow manufacturing protocols and batch records for filtration processes.
  • Assemble, clean, and operate production equipment (e.g., filters, pumps, pipettes).
  • Maintain accurate records and logs through real-time documentation.
  • Review documentation to ensure completeness and accuracy.
  • Complete daily and weekly tasks, including tracking and stocking consumables, proper storage of materials, and disposal of waste.
  • Maintain up-to-date training records.
  • Independently perform finished goods filtration and packing activities.
  • Train new technicians in finished goods filtration and packing.
  • Understand buffer compositions and perform pH and buffer adjustments.
  • Execute calibration, maintenance, and operation of production equipment.
  • Prepare buffer solutions and manage process intermediates.
  • Weigh powders, chemicals, and reagents, and perform necessary calculations.
  • Identify and report mechanical, chemical, and safety hazards.
  • Support new processes and initiatives to enhance production efficiency.
  • Foster a company culture that aligns with our values.


Qualifications:

  • High School diploma required.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of applicable experience.
  • Ability to meet deadlines, multitask, and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Strong independent and team-working skills.
  • Familiarity with solutions, reagents, and chemistry concepts (e.g., molarity, concentration).
  • Knowledge of ISO standards and other applicable regulations.
