Responsibilities:

  • Project Management: Lead and manage technical architecture projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to project objectives, timelines, and budget constraints.
  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including technical teams, business units, and senior management, to define project requirements, goals, and success criteria.
  • Resource Planning and Allocation: Identify resource requirements and allocate personnel, effectively to support project needs.
  • Risk Management: Proactively identify project risks, issues, and dependencies, and develop mitigation strategies to address them. Monitor and manage risks throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Technical Expertise: Provide technical guidance and expertise to project teams, leveraging knowledge of architectural principles, best practices, and emerging technologies.
  • Communication and Reporting: Maintain clear and open communication channels with project team members, stakeholders, and leadership, providing regular updates on project status, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure the quality and integrity of project deliverables through rigorous testing, validation, and adherence to industry standards and regulations.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project management processes, tools, and methodologies, promoting efficiency, scalability, and innovation.
  • Documentation and Documentation Management: Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, schedules, status reports, and post-implementation reviews.
  • Ensure adherence to SLAs.
  • Manage and track projects using Jira.
  • Build dashboards and present insights to senior-level stakeholders.
  • Create and share weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance reports with detailed metrics.
  • Lead knowledge-sharing sessions and build a comprehensive knowledge repository.
  • Upskill and cross-skill team members to demonstrate quarterly knowledge and skill set gains aligned with the client's IT objectives.
  • Manage an onsite/offshore team, ensuring clear communication and coordination between teams.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Proven experience of 15+ years managing technical architecture projects in a fast-paced environment, preferably within the automotive sector.
  • Strong technical background with expertise in architectural principles, design patterns, and software development methodologies.
  • Excellent project management skills, with a track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
  • Proficiency in project management tools.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and motivate high-performing teams.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to diverse audiences.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred.
