Responsibilities

  • Develop, train, and mentor project managers and superintendents.
  • Evaluate the scope of work and resources needed to complete projects successfully.
  • Verify project estimates for accuracy by thoroughly reviewing proposal specifications, drawings, and all contract documents.
  • Oversee all aspects of construction to ensure adherence to design, budget, and project specifications, including coordination with owners, A/E representatives, subcontractors, and others.
  • Plan, coordinate, and supervise onsite activities such as scheduling, engineering, and material control, while providing daily guidance to onsite administrative staff.
  • Offer technical support, including interpreting drawings and recommending construction methods and equipment as needed. Oversee and review estimates for extra work and manage change orders.
  • Ensure the safety, quality, and productivity of subcontractors and Caddell craft employees. Monitor the efficient use of materials and equipment and ensure the project meets contractual requirements.
  • Administer financial tracking systems to monitor project costs and forecast future expenditures.
  • Prepare comprehensive project plans and perform additional duties as assigned by executive management.
  • Promote positive working relationships with customers and assist staff in reviewing and adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Fully responsible for developing, implementing, and executing an effective Safety and Health Program for the project.
  • Expect significant travel requirements for this role.

Working Conditions

  • Construction environment with travel required; full-time position.
  • Must be able to crawl, climb, walk, reach with hands and arms, bend, kneel, crouch, stand for extended periods, lift and hold objects over 50 lbs, talk, hear, and occasionally sit.
  • Ability to work in confined spaces and at heights while ensuring safety.
  • Exposure to varying weather conditions such as heat, cold, humidity, and wet environments.

Reporting Structure

  • Reports to the Construction Executive or Vice President.
