Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Construction Administrator to join our team at Commercial Construction. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing various administrative tasks within our construction projects, including communication with clients, design professionals, and subcontractors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Communication: Serve as a primary point of contact for communication between clients, design professionals, subcontractors, and internal project teams.
  • Contract Administration: Administer contracts with subcontractors, supplies, and vendors and ensure compliance with contractual obligations throughout the project life cycle.
  • Submittal Management: Assist with submittals, including reviewing, tracking, and coordinating timely submission of project documents, blueprints, and materials.
  • Financial Management: Review and process monthly billing invoices from subcontractors and vendors, ensuring alignment with project budget, contract terms, and work completed.
  • Project Coordination: Collaborate closely with project management team and external stakeholders to develop, maintain, and communicate project schedules.
  • Meeting Support: Prepare meeting agendas outlining project objectives and take detailed meeting minutes capturing key discussion points and project action items.
  • Problem-Solving: Actively participate in problem-solving and decision-making processes to address challenges and optimize project performance.
  • Training and Support: Provide training and support to new team members or project team on project procedures, tools, and systems as needed.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by management to support project goals and organizational needs.

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday (Full-time)

Work Environment: In-Office
