Job Purpose

 

           

 

           

The Staff Accountant is a highly collaborative role, that partners cross-functionally with teams across Bland Landscaping to ensure timely and accurate processing of financial transactions. This is an onsite position Monday-Friday from 8am to 5pm reporting to the Accounts Receivable Manager.

 

What You’ll Do at Bland Landscaping:

  • Receive, review, and verify billing data from different branches.
  • Review client contracts for proper invoicing treatment.
  • Generate client invoices and supporting documentation for submission to clients in a timely manner.
  • Perform daily cash management duties including posting cash to the accounts receivable sub-ledger.
  • Identify delinquent accounts by reviewing reports and contact delinquent accounts to request payment.
  • Research and provide resolution to accounts receivable issues and customer discrepancies.
  • Support special projects as requested.

 

What You Need to Succeed

  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP
  • Associate degree in accounting or 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office tools
  • The ability to work effectively in a team environment with all levels of client personnel in various industries.
