Job DescriptionJob Description- Job Title: Accounting Coordinator I (Accounts Payable and Purchasing)
- Responsible for leading and managing accounts payable
- Required to process outgoing payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures
- Manage all aspects of day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting processes
- Provide detailed insights into expenditures versus budget
- Reconcile accounts payable ledger and vendor accounts
- Handle expense management, including reconciling AMEX purchasing and managing office purchases
- Responsible for bank activity management such as reviewing daily transactions and reconciling bank statements
- Ensure regulatory compliance, verify sales tax data, manage resale certificate archiving, and 1099 filing & W-9 archive activities
- Handle inventory purchases, perform monthly three-way match of invoices, reconcile foreign payments and wire requests, and manage POs in ERP
- Act as a backup for Accounts Receivable, print and mail invoices, and receive and post customer payments when necessary
- Manage the books of other minor entities using QuickBooks and maintain Fixed asset ledger and depreciation schedules
- Requirements: Associate or bachelor's degree in accounting, 3-5 years of experience in accounts payable roles, proficiency in Microsoft Suite, and strong attention to detail
