Position Summary
The Vice President of Production is a key leadership role within the mortgage company, responsible for overseeing the production operations, driving strategic initiatives, and ensuring the efficient and effective processing of mortgage loans from origination to closing. This position requires a dynamic leader with extensive industry experience, strong analytical skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the production team, fostering a culture of excellence.
- Oversee the loan production process, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
- Develop and execute strategic plans to meet production goals and expand market share.
- Maintain relationships with key stakeholders and resolve escalated customer issues.
- Prepare reports on production performance and implement process improvements.
Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related field preferred
- 5+ years of mortgage production experience, with 2+ years in senior leadership.
- Deep knowledge of mortgage lending practices and regulations.
- Proven ability to achieve production goals and drive operational excellence.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
