Position Description: The Front Office Administrator is a full-time, hourly position providing support for the office and the WHCC staff. This position is the first line of communication to the public, its members, and the community. Excellent candidates should have great communication skills, be very organized, tech-savvy, computer literate, and be able to multitask. Candidate must be proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Canva, Constant Contact, CRS systems, and Publisher. Responsibilities (include but are not limited to)

• Answer mainline telephone, transfer calls as necessary, and respond to emails and other inquiries

• Manage and work with detailed Membership database CRS system

• Organize and maintain file systems, handle invoicing, and payables

• Keep the reception area, desk, and office generally neat, welcoming, and inviting to visitors

• Make electronic check deposits and submit deposit reports to the CFO per protocol

• Provide support for and follow-ups after Membership events

• Manage check-in, setup, and preparation for events

• Transcribe meeting minutes

• Create agenda drafts for meetings

• Maintain the Chamber’s calendar of meetings and events – send meeting notifications and reminders

• Provide support for Programs & Communications

• Monitor the company’s website and make changes and updates when necessary

• Oversee the maintenance, repair, and purchasing of supplies for office equipment

• Manage incoming and outgoing mail

• Oversee and manage general office supplies, business cards, badges, and collateral materials

• Assist in daily operations

**Candidate must be willing to work some evenings as support for Chamber-hosted events**


We Offer

· Hourly rate depending on experience (range of $20 to $25 hourly)

· Eleven (12) paid holidays

· 2 weeks paid vacation per year (1 week after 6 months)
