Key Responsibilities:

As the Director of Procurement you will oversee all procurement activities fostering a seamless effective and economical approach to meeting our companys supply chain needs. Your responsibilities will include:

Strategic Procurement & Budgeting

Develop and implement purchasing strategies that align with Zephyrus Engineerings objectives for quality consistency and costeffectiveness.

Establish and monitor essential guidelines for purchase orders approval workflows and inventory budgeting to optimize resources and streamline costs.

Drive efficiency in the procurement process by ensuring compliance with best practices and continually analyzing and improving purchasing policies.

Vendor & Supplier Management

Maintain extensive knowledge of the market keeping uptodate on competitive prices fair rates and industry trends.

Identify evaluate and build relationships with key suppliers to secure reliable highquality and costeffective sources for materials and services.

Oversee the bidding and quote analysis process negotiating service agreements and contracts to achieve favorable terms for Zephyrus Engineering.

Team Leadership & Collaboration

Lead mentor and manage a crossfunctional team including purchasing operations and logistics personnel ensuring high standards of performance and work quality.

Collaborate closely with other departments to align procurement activities with project timelines and quality requirements.

Foster a culture of accountability communication and continuous improvement within the procurement team.

Process Optimization & Compliance

Implement and enforce policies and procedures that promote efficiency ethical standards and operational productivity across procurement functions.

Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess procurement effectiveness and ensure alignment with company objectives.

Ensure compliance with industry standards and internal quality controls upholding Zephyrus Engineerings reputation for excellence.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

Bachelors degree in Business Management Supply Chain or a relevant field (Masters degree or certification in Procurement/Supply Chain Management is a plus).

Proven experience in procurement logistics or supply chain management with demonstrable success in a management or leadership role.

Skills & Abilities

Indepth market knowledge and expertise in negotiating and securing competitive pricing.

Strong leadership and communication skills to guide a team and communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and suppliers.

Organizational and multitasking excellence with a knack for handling multiple projects while maintaining quality and efficiency.

Budgeting and financial acumen to manage expenses control costs and optimize purchasing activities.
