About the Role

Manhattan University seeks a Procurement Analyst to play a critical role in managing procurement activities, ensuring efficient acquisition of goods and services that support the institution's operational and academic objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate vendor performance and analyze procurement trends to ensure compliance with college policies, federal and state regulations, and industry standards.
  • Assist the Director of Procurement in developing and implementing procurement strategies that align with the college's goals, ensuring cost-effective and timely acquisition of high-quality goods and services.
  • Maintain relationships with vendors, facilitate RFPs, and ensure compliance with terms and conditions.
  • Monitor departmental purchases to comply with campus budgetary and purchasing procedures.
  • Train department users on procurement policies and functions, including the use of the Unimarket system.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of related experience preferred.
  • Experience in Procurement, preferably in an educational or similar institutional setting.
  • Strong understanding of procurement principles, practices, and techniques.
  • Strong communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Banner, Unimarket, or related e-procurement program preferred.

The salary for this position is estimated to be around $68,000 - $78,000 per year, based on the location and industry standards.
