Key Job Activities:

  • IT SOX Audit Management: Support control owners through the IT SOX audit cycle, including improving controls, maintaining the IT SOX control framework, facilitating management prep sessions, and ensuring audit evidence accuracy.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Build and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders, including application, process, and control owners, to support IT Risk and Compliance processes.
  • System Knowledge: Gain understanding of systems like SAP S/4, SuccessFactors, Salesforce, Descartes, Coupa, Concur, and legacy systems for IT SOX controls.
  • Risk Assessments: Perform targeted risk assessments and provide recommendations to Control Owners.
  • Scoping Activities: Participate in scoping activities for IT SOX applications, system changes, and business transformation projects.
  • Internal Controls: Contribute to the design and implementation of internal control enhancements such as segregation of duties, change management, access management, IT operations, and application configuration.
  • Audit Evidence Validation: Assist IT SOX processes by validating that audit evidence is complete and accurate before submission to auditors.
  • Control Exception Resolution: Identify, communicate, and coordinate efforts to resolve control exceptions.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive IT SOX governance program improvements through training development, auditor facilitation, and support material creation.
  • Deficiency Remediation: Review deficiencies identified during audits and collaborate with the IT Risk & Compliance team to develop and execute remediation plans.
  • Policy Development: Support the IT policy steering committee and IT GRC steering committee to develop and maintain corporate IT policies.
  • User Entitlement Reviews: Support user entitlement reviews using tools built on Alteryx and Outsystems.
  • Audit Liaison: Act as a liaison to auditors, fulfill audit requests, and coordinate audit activities with IT stakeholders, including SOC-1 reviews.
  • Remediation Support: Assist management with remediation plan development, execution, and support for control owners.
  • IT SOX Walkthroughs: Participate in IT SOX walkthroughs to gain understanding of processes and controls.
  • Status Reporting: Maintain status reports and key metrics to support the IT Risk and Compliance function.
  • Other Duties: Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Education:

  • Preferred Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Information Systems, Computer Science, Accounting, Business, or a related technical discipline.

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field.
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience.
  • Familiarity with leading IT controls frameworks and audit methodologies (e.g., COSO 2013, COBIT, ISO, CMM, ITIL, PCI, NIST, SSAE 18 SOC).
  • Strong understanding of IT Sarbanes Oxley (IT SOX) regulations.
  • Intermediate knowledge of evaluating internal controls and designing solutions.
  • Previous audit experience is a plus.
  • SAP functional knowledge is a plus.
  • Certifications such as CISA, CISM, CIA, CPA are a plus.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office tools.
  • Basic knowledge of project management principles.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for effective matrix organization work.
  • Ability to manage and collaborate with geographically distributed teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment independently and lead a team.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and time management skills.
