Overview:
As a pivotal component of the firm's risk management strategy, the Credit Risk (CR) team is tasked with the critical role of evaluating, overseeing, and mitigating credit risk. Our global team, consisting of over 200 specialists, operates from various locations worldwide, providing a comprehensive approach to risk management.
Credit professionals engage daily with diverse sectors of the firm, including Investment Banking, Sales & Trading, and Financing, offering a unique vantage point on the firm's operational landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Investment Advisors, Legal, and Compliance teams to investigate and identify funds, gathering essential information regarding financial performance.
- Update and maintain fund Net Asset Values and performance metrics within Credit systems.
- Engage with Hedge Funds to gain insights into their performance, strategies, and asset management.
- Review documentation and monitor compliance with covenants.
- Oversee the client onboarding process to ensure accurate assignment to relevant industry teams.
- Document process workflows and share knowledge with fellow analysts.
- Proactively identify opportunities for process enhancements, aiming to reduce risks, bolster controls, and elevate customer satisfaction.
- Ensure the accuracy and quality of work, escalating unresolved issues to management as necessary.
Required Skills:
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Self-motivated team player with exceptional organizational skills.
- Proficient in Excel, including Pivot Tables, Formulas, and VBA.
- Articulate and diplomatic in communication.
- Quick learner with the ability to work independently.
- Basic knowledge of accounting or financial analysis is advantageous.
