Yacht Operations Manager


We are looking for a candidate who can fill the role of Administrative Assistant/Bookkeeper. This candidate MUST be legal to work in the United States and free to travel internationally. We are looking for a team player to join our collegiate, open, management environment. The candidate should be able to work with many different nationalities, personalities, and be able to understand the dynamics involved with yacht management. This candidate will also be able to handle many different types of tasks throughout the day and be willing to assist with colleagues and crew. The ideal candidate will complete required tasks while working to improve our management functions in conjunction with all colleagues involved. 


Responsibilities may include:


  • Data Entry
  • Compile Financial Reports
  • Correspond with vendors and crew about invoices and payments
  • Uploading documents 
  • Organizing Digital Files
  • Reviewing reports and notating discrepancies


Qualifications

  • Fluent in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, OneDrive)
  • Experience in Adobe Acrobat
  • Ability to interpret and analyze financial statements and periodicals
  • Some experience with Quickbooks is beneficial
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Computer Literate and able to adapt quickly to new programs


This is a full time role Monday-Friday, 2 weeks vacation per year, with additional +/- 1 week office closure in December (with continued monitoring of emails/requirements from home during this period) . Company contributes to health insurance. Must be able to legally work in the United States and free to travel internationally for up to 2 weeks at a time. Candidate will be available to clients occasionally after working hours as required and available for emergency response 24/7/365. Must have your own car and able to commute to 17th Street in Fort Lauderdale.
