About Houston
ExxonMobil's state-of-the-art campus north of Houston serves as home to its Upstream, Product Solutions and Low Carbon Solutions businesses and their associated service groups. The facility opened in 2014 and accommodates more than 10,000 employees and visitors.
By bringing many global functional groups together, the campus provides employees with the tools and capabilities needed today, and in the future, to achieve business objectives and accelerate the discovery of new resources, technologies and products. The campus is located in Spring, Texas, on 385 wooded acres immediately to the west of Interstate Highway 45 (I-45), at the intersection of I-45 and the Hardy Toll Road, approximately 25 miles from the cultural vibrancy of downtown Houston.

What role you will play in our team
Responsible for oversight and tactical execution of a multi-modal end to end supply chain for bulk material.
What you will do
- Work with multiple groups within supply chain to ensure the strategic vision for shipping products, transloading and other associated relevant supply chain functions are achieved on a tactical level
- Day-to-day interactions with various groups within ExxonMobil both employees and contractors
- Prepare and conduct performance stewardship to transportation and terminal operators on a routine basis
- Develop and plan for the execution for holidays and other periods where one or more pieces of the supply chain may have a planned service exception
- Provide key insight for the overall stewardship of the various transportation vendors utilized for movement of bulk materials
- Work with relevant supply chain teams to provide insight and analytical support to assess needs for supply chain assets: railcars, trucks, vessels, and third-party terminal capacity/ throughput
Rail Functions:
- Oversight to ensure rail scheduling and billing is performed according to strategic plan
- Manage car inventory levels to ensure proper number of railcars are provided at origin facilities, cars in transit, and cars at destination terminals
- Shipment data tracking to mitigate problematic routes, interchange locations, or other strains on the transit network
- Lead execution of re-routing railcars when necessary for unplanned service disruptions
Trucking Functions:
- Ensure trucking team has a plan that meets the objectives of the total supply chain and business team
- Work closely with Completions Engineering team on providing product to correct locations ensuring maximum efficiency while simultaneously providing cost optimizations as appropriate
Marine:
- Engage Global marine team on vessel requirements:
- Monitor Marine Shipments and ensure overall supply chain plan is continuously updated
- Provide indirect oversight with transloading activities marine to rail
Third Party Terminals:
- Primary Supply Chain interface to third party terminals handling bulk material
- Engaged in managing all tactical issues with third party terminals. First line decision maker for mitigation when third party terminal issues arise
- Periodic onsite review of third-party terminals
About you
Skills and Qualifications
- 5 years' experience with- Bachelor's Degree preferred in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business or 15 years+ equivalent work experience
- North American Rail Network knowledge and direct experience- preferred direct experience in class-Irail operations or highly complex logistics experience that involves transportation of goods by rail, terminals, etc.
- Strong Communicator, Ability to influence others within your organization (both employees and contractors), Analytical, Compete to Win, Adapts, Applies Learning, Collaborates, Innovates, Inspires
Preferred Qualifications/ Experience
- Demand Planning, Leadership experience, Ability to work in a 24/7 dynamic supply chain environment, SAP experience
- Transloading terminals, railroad blocking strategies, trucking logistics and best practices, marine interface
