What you will do in this role: You will assist with all front office functions including patient relations, check-in/check-out, scheduling, insurance verification, and answering phonesYou will ensure any patient complaints are handled appropriatelyYou will develop guidelines for prioritizing work activities, evaluating effectiveness, and modifying activities as necessary to ensure appropriate staffing levels are maintainedYou will conduct regular staff meetingsYou will manage filing and retrieving medical records and patient informationYou will ensure the timeliness and accuracy of patient charge entry into the billing system and assists with collecting and recording co-pays (cash and/or charge) What Qualifications you will need: Graduate from a recognized training facility for medical assistants is preferredCourse-work in healthcare office management is preferred RMA, CMA, or LPN license is beneficialCPR Certification is preferredSupporting HCA Healthcare's 186 hospitals and 2,400+ sites of care, Physician Services plays a crucial role as the main entry point for patients looking for high-quality healthcare within the HCA Healthcare system.
