Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Patient Services Coordinator III to join our team at Novant Health TwinCity Pediatrics Clinic - Winston.

Key Responsibilities
  • Timely and accurately record patient demographics, insurance information, patient charges, and collections.
  • Schedule patient appointments in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Cross-train in multiple administrative support functions.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED, required.
  • One year of clerical experience in a medical office setting, required.
  • Knowledge of medical office software, including updating patient demographic information, posting charges, and scheduling patient appointments.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills and ability to work with changing priorities.
  • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and interact with individuals of all cultures and levels of authority.
  • Basic medical terminology and working knowledge of EPIC systems.
  • Detailed knowledge of multiple payor billing requirements and familiarity with coding requirements for practice specialty.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Proficient in the use of all computer software utilized in the practice.
