Role: In-Market Researcher (UX)

Location: India

Language: Hindi/English bilingual

Capacity: Freelance, demand-based hours, flexibility for needs-based work inside and outside normal US Eastern Time office hours


Responsibilities:

  • Executing moderated and unmoderated UX Research studies in your local language
  • Translating and localizing research materials provided in English in your language
  • Communicating the data points back in English
  • Using your cultural and language expertise to add color to findings and insights
  • Respect timelines and deadlines


Minimum Qualifications

  • Education: Master’s degree


Previous experience:

  • Conducting academic research or UX Research in previous roles and capacities either for technology companies or universities
  • Ability to conduct interviews
  • Ability to conduct desk research


Language skills:

  • Native speaker of the local language
  • Full professional proficiency of English


Cultural expertise:

  • In-depth knowledge of culture, traditions, and technology used in your local region
  • Ability to communicate characteristics and regional distinctions of your culture to individuals who are not familiar with it


Technological expertise

  • Understanding and interest in technology trends in your country


Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in User Experience Research roles
  • Expertise in qualitative research across the entire product design cycle and experience tracking the success of research outcomes
  • Previous experience working in a consulting role with clients (e.g., Business/management consulting, UX consulting)
  • Experience in service design/UX design/product design/visual design
  • Experience conducting international UX research
  • Fluent in multiple languages
