Marketing Assistant Job Description

ASM Global is seeking a part-time Marketing Assistant to support the marketing department in daily administrative tasks, prepare and distribute event information, and create engaging content for social media.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the marketing department in daily administrative tasks
  • Prepare and distribute event information to staff and partners
  • Create and edit photo, video, and graphic content for social media using Adobe Suite and other software
  • Monitor and report on analytics for social media accounts, website, and email
  • Build and send marketing emails using the Ticketmaster Engagement platform
  • Maintain venue websites
  • Collect data and conduct research
  • Assist in promotional activities at events in the venues and throughout the community
  • Cross-train with Box Office, Guest Services, and other venue departments to learn the events industry
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or G.E.D.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and Adobe Creative Cloud suite
  • Ability to learn new software for social media management, research, design, and facility management
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines with attention to detail
  • Knowledge of social media including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat, and other outlets
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Graphic design, photography, videography, and editing skills
