Administrative Assistant to the Executive Chef

Responsible for communication between the Executive Chef and culinary operations and the other departments within the resort. Position requires candidate to maintain a high level of administrative work and organization. Must interact positively and professionally with a number of managers and line staff.

Responsibilities and Duties:
Is responsible for generating reports for the Executive Chef – including maintaining a book of Banquet Event Orders (BEO) and Menu items. Will attend BEO meetings to manage and update all events with F&B related items. Will print and distribute Menus and other Food related signage. Will assist the purchaser/receiver as needed. Will interact with other departments on a daily basis Will perform other duties as assignedEssential Qualifications and Competencies:
Must have at least 2 years administrative support experience Minimum of high school diploma Strong verbal and written communication. Critical evaluation skills. A commitment to ethical practice and legal compliance. Attention to detail is of the utmost importance Must be highly motivated with a positive attitude and good work ethic Will have some knowledge of the food industry Must be organized, efficient and accurate Have the stamina to work up to 10+ hours: sitting, standing and walking. Ability to bend, stoop, lift up to 25lbs, reach overhead and perform repetitive motion. May involve walking between venues and climbing stairs between floors. Must be able to adapt to changes in a fast paced, dynamic, and sometimes intense work environment Must be willing and able to pass a background check.-
