Role Overview

Take on the responsibility of addressing our customers' automation challenges, from cost reduction to process efficiency, quality assurance, and employee safety.

As an Account Manager, you will be the primary point of contact for promoting and supporting Banner products in regions such as Detroit and Grand Rapids, MI, or Dayton, Columbus, and Cleveland, Ohio. You will report directly to the Regional Sales Director.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and enhance territory performance to identify growth opportunities
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to capitalize on new business prospects
  • Drive the promotion of diverse industrial automation products
  • Create and execute sales strategies to meet targets
  • Offer technical support and manage local accounts
  • Maintain and update the CRM database
  • Work closely with sales teams and distributors to implement sales plans
  • Regularly communicate with the corporate office on territory progress
Qualifications

To excel in this role, you should fulfill the following requirements and demonstrate dedicated performance:

Required
  • Associate's degree in Business, Engineering, or relevant field
  • Previous experience in customer-facing positions (Inside Sales, Sales Support, Applications Engineering)
Preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field with 1-5 years of sales experience
  • Strong industrial automation background (especially in sensors, motion control, or PLC)
  • Expertise in solution-oriented and management-level selling
  • Capacity to oversee multiple sales channel partners
  • Thorough understanding of local market dynamics
Supervisory Responsibilities

This role does not involve direct supervision of others.
