About the role:

Testing medical device application requires rigor and attention to detail to meet industry and regulatory standards. It takes someone who can solve problems, is unwilling to give up, and is in tune with the highly regulated nature of medical device software. We're looking for a top-notch Mobile application test engineer with a focus on quality who has experience with primarily Android mobile testing with some experience with iOS testing.

Your responsibilities will include:

Development of test scenarios following design and requirement documents to ensure intended behavior is verifiedWrite automated integration and functional tests for native mobile applicationInteract with developers, business analysts, and other QA team members to identify, report, and troubleshoot defects in a detailed, efficient, and timely mannerMaintain, report test results and investigate test failuresParticipate in code reviews with peersWork in a highly regulated software environmentFocus on patient safety

Required qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or higher in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science5 or more years of test automation experience with at least 3 or more in Android platformsKnowledge of mobile hardware and software platformsHands-on experience with at least one of the following automation frameworks
AppiumEspresso/Compose TestDesire to learn, explore, and push team practices to modern standardsWork within Continuous Integration environmentsTeam player willing to collaborate with peersEffective communicator and writerIndependent contributor who requires less or little supervision

Preferred qualifications:

Experience automating with Kotlin, Android StudioUnderstanding of mobile interface guidelinesExposure to mobile device cloud farmsExperience using Page Object, Robot, or Screenplay design patternHands-on experience with XCUITest
