Overview of the Fixed Asset Accountant role:
  • This Fixed Asset Accountant reports directly to the Controller
  • The Fixed Asset Accountant will review all month-end fixed asset activities to include monthly depreciation and other month-end journal entries
  • This Fixed Asset Accountant will reconcile all fixed asset and accumulated depreciation general ledger accounts
  • This Fixed Asset Accountant will be responsible for ASC 842 lease accounting compliance
  • The Fixed Asset Accountant will prepare monthly financials for fixed assets

Preferred Qualifications for the Fixed Asset Accountant:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related
  • 3+ years accounting experience
  • 1+ years fixed asset experience
  • Must be proficient in Excel
