Position Overview

The Inventory Management Specialist plays a crucial role in overseeing asset accountability and inventory processes within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulates, executes, and sustains an Asset Management Accountability Plan alongside a Tracking System, complemented by Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) to outline the asset accountability workflow.
  • Monitors essential asset details including make, model, serial number, asset tag number, accountability status, location, acquisition date, warranty information, lifecycle expectations, and any other relevant attributes as specified.
  • Facilitates comprehensive asset management through requisite systems.
  • Manages warehousing operations, ensuring the effective receipt, storage, and distribution of equipment.
  • Handles requisition, receipt, and inventory management of supplies and property.
  • Maintains accurate records and performs manual tasks related to the organization and distribution of materials.
  • Oversees the pickup, delivery, transfer, and inventorying of supplies and goods to support operational efficiency.
  • Demonstrates proficiency in inventory management and maintains precise and timely records.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience collaborating with military personnel and civil service staff.
  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Possession of a US Government Secret Security Clearance is required.
