Acting as a direct supervisor to the General Managers, the Vice President of Operations will provide support and resources, both in person and remotely, while reporting to the President.


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Meets commitment to results for all areas of responsibilities including but not limited to: Employee Retention and Satisfaction, Financial Performance and Requirements, Regulatory Compliance, Culinary Programs and Standards, Human Resources, Sales and Marketing.

Participates in the hiring and training of property leadership teams including both new and existing properties.
Organizes and oversees the property general managers.
Successfully builds relationships at all levels of the organization.
Monitor hotel revenue, related guest satisfaction scores, and other metrics to identify greatest opportunities.

Establishes quantitative and qualitative metrics, guidelines, and standards by which the company's efficiency and effectiveness can be evaluated; identifies opportunities for improvement.

Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates business procedures.

Continuously track the market and competition trends while seeking realistic strategies for property and overall portfolio revenue and guest satisfaction.

Perform both announced and unannounced property visits – minimum of 50% travel required.

Communicates and explains new directives, policies, or procedures to general managers; for major changes, meets with entire operations staff to explain changes, answer questions, and maintain morale.

Assists with integration of efforts among operations, engineering, technology, and customer service divisions to produce smoother workflow and more cost-effective business processes.

Projects a positive image of the organization to employees, customers, industry, and community.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS
College degree and 5 to 7 years of hotel management experience, specifically multi-property.

Travel at minimum 50% of the time, performing property inspections, training, handling onsite onboarding of new hotels, supporting the general managers, all while working cohesively with other team members.

Strong verbal and written communication skills
Significant attention to detail
Complete understanding of profitability and budget goals
Experience with Hotel information systems required
