Candidate Profile (Requirements):
- A bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline, accompanied by a minimum of fifteen years of experience in field construction management. Equivalent combinations of education and experience totaling twenty years or more are acceptable.
- Advanced proficiency in computer applications, including word processing, spreadsheets, email, and scheduling tools. Familiarity with department-specific applications may be required.

Key Responsibilities (Essential Functions):
- Formulate a strategic vision for Field Operations that aligns with the overall business objectives. Develop annual plans, monitor implementation progress, and provide updates to leadership.
- Evaluate industry trends and performance metrics to identify opportunities for enhancement within Gray's field operations.
- Prepare and present regular reports on Field Operations to Gray leadership as required.
- Foster the growth and development of Field Operations leadership teams through guidance, support, and performance evaluations.
- Establish and enforce operational processes and procedures that align with the company’s goals and vision.
- Collaborate with teams to create effective training and development programs for field personnel.
- Oversee budget management for Field Operations, ensuring efficient resource utilization and implementing cost-control measures as necessary.
- Ensure adherence to financial policies and procedures within the Field Operations division.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Market Leaders, customers, and team members by addressing any arising concerns.
- Lead recruitment initiatives that align with market strategies, adjusting hiring based on project needs.
- Develop and enhance the Quality program within Field Operations to align with corporate quality standards.
- Continuously develop the service team to support increasingly complex projects and procurement offerings.
- Conduct regular site visits to ensure adequate staffing and compliance with safety, quality, and project expectations.
- Participate in various committees and management meetings as necessary.
- Promote alignment with Gray Construction’s safety, quality, and service programs.
Physical Demands & Work Environment:

While performing the duties of this position, the team member is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, use hands, reach with hands or arms, and talk or hear. The work environment is typically an office setting with moderate noise levels and controlled temperature/humidity. Overtime may be necessary, and travel is required, including occasional overnight stays.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This role involves managing multiple subordinate supervisors who oversee various team members. Responsibilities include the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of these units, as well as direct supervision of non-supervisory team members. Supervisory duties include interviewing, hiring, and training team members; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining team members; and addressing complaints and resolving issues.
