As a Banking Market Manager within PNC's Private Bank organization, you will be based in McLean, VA or Washington, DC.

This position is primarily based in a location within PNC's footprint. Preferred locations are listed in this requisition. Responsibilities require time in the office or in the field on a regular basis. Some responsibilities can be performed remotely.

Job Description

  • Develops and executes strategies to meet the strategic and financial goals of the Banking function and overall market within an assigned geographic area. Leads team of Banking Advisors; mentors, coaches and performance manages team to achieve their individual and team objectives; recruits and onboards key talent as required
  • Monitors and manages team's adherence to AMG's risk and compliance policies and processes for the assigned geographic area.
  • Builds relationships and works closely with market and functional leaders as well as cross line of business partners to grow the Banking business and facilitate integrated business development opportunities and solutions for clients. Builds/ manages a network of external partners to assist team in business development and client acquisition opportunities.
  • Manages day-to-day sales process and financial performance-to-goal for the assigned geographic area. Serves as subject matter expert for team and demonstrates technical expertise in sophisticated/complex banking and lending strategies.
  • Manages individual relationship with key clients within assigned geographic area to ensure client satisfaction, retention and expansion of sales revenue as required.

Higher level education such as a Masters degree, PhD, or certifications is desirable. Industry experience is typically 8+ years. At least 5 years of prior management experience is typically required.
