Position Overview

The Delivery Manager is responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of products and services for their Team. They work to maximize the effectiveness of the team and take actions to increase their performance. They develop, mentor and coach team members while promoting and facilitating their professional development.

Kiewit Technology Group builds solutions to enable and support our company's expansive operations. Our team utilizes systems and tools that manage every part of Kiewit's business and the project lifecycle to improve planning and day-to-day execution in the field. Location

This is an onsite position Monday - Friday at our NEW office located at 12312 Port Grace Blvd La Vista, NE. *Remote work and sponsorship is not offered for this position.

Responsibilities


•Manages the overall delivery of the team, including ensuring work is delivered on time, on budget, and with a high-level quality.

•Ensures resources are accurately allocated in accordance with tactical plans.

•Removes obstacles and roadblocks that impact the performance of the team.

•Works with the product managers to ensure the team has a well-defined backlog of valuable work.

•Works with the product managers to prioritize product and project releases.

•Ensures that the team follows the best practices set by the COE for business analysis, software engineering, secure coding practices, unit and regression testing and automation, and technical change management.

•Uses metrics and tools to understand team performance and efficiency; takes actions to improve team efficiency.

•Holds the team to the highest standards, project discipline and accountability.

•Mentors, coaches, and inspires team members to higher levels of performance.

•Ensures development plans are focused on enhancing skills and expertise needed within the team.

•Identifies and addresses skills gaps in the team that may impact its ability to meet business needs.

•Conducts regular reviews of each team member's plan and ensures the team member is progressing and addressing skill development needs.

•Manages the Teams costs to ensure value for every dollar spent.

Qualifications

5+ years' experience in an IT field, or equivalent relevant work experience.

Management experience required.

Software development or technology background with strong knowledge of relevant technical disciplines. Strong understanding of the SDLC.

Previous Business Analysis and/or Quality Assurance experience.

Demonstrates understanding of Agile/Lean leadership principles, proficient in agile team development as well as awareness of team training opportunities.

Able to effectively coach and mentor and identify and address skills needs and gaps.

Displays good interpersonal skills at all levels of contact in a wide variety of situations, demonstrating the ability to listen and influence, and to relate to customers in their own language.

Demonstrates the ability to champion change and support teams through change.

Demonstrates the ability to think critically, challenge conventional thinking, and generate and apply unique business insight to create a competitive advantage for the organization.

SAP experience is a plus.

Experience supporting Payroll and/or HR projects is a plus.
