What is the opportunity?
The RBC US Wealth Management - Organizational Change Management team leads change management planning and execution for the firm's top strategic priorities. This role collaborates with key change partners and senior leaders to create and implement change management strategies and plans that maximize employee readiness and adoption to changes in the areas of advisor and home office technology, industry regulations, business processes and overall product development. Drive faster adoption, higher ultimate utilization and greater proficiency of the changes that impact employees in the organization to increase benefit realization, value creation and the achievement of results and outcomes. Work with project sponsors, senior leaders and front line managers to influence and support their employees through transitions.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
- Assess project change initiatives
- Identify stakeholders and stakeholder impacts
- Develop change management strategies to ensure stakeholder readiness and adoption
- Develop communications plans and material in partnership with Communications team, Project Managers, Subject matter experts and Sponsors
- Develop training plans and material in partnership with training & development teams to support stakeholder readiness and adoption
- Collaborate with colleagues across the enterprise to deliver OCM deliverables in support of change initiatives
- Develop and deliver training to firm employees on change leadership and change management topics
- Manage ad hoc requests
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- 5+ years of financial services experience
- Comprehensive understanding of organizational change management and supporting methodologies; experience with Prosci ADKAR model is a plus
- Ability to work cross functionality with employees at all levels of an organization
- Good organization skills and ability to successfully balance multiple projects and priorities
Nice-to-have
- Experience in training and development and/or corporate communications
- Experience with industry software applications (ex. client relationship management, asset management, financial planning)
- Change management certification or designation desired; Prosci Certification a plus
- FINRA Series 7, Series 66 (or Series 63 and Series 65) helpful
- Leverage RBC US Wealth Management and enterprise change management process and tools for maximum effectiveness in plan development
