Job Description
The Senior PI (Principle Investigator) is responsible for the scientific integrity and quality control of archaeological findings. This person will look at information collected on the ground, make sure the analysis is accurate and coherent. This person will be a technical reviewer, and will not be responsible for writing. If they encounter any issues with the findings, they will come up with solutions for those issues.

This is a remote job, but travel is required to different archaeological sites about once per quarter for a week or more.

Skills and Requirements
*Masters Arabian / Middle Eastern archaeology, anthropology, or something similar

  • 3 years of commercial professional experience (outside of academia)
*Experience conducting field work on an archaeological project (onsite, not remote)
*Background in research, writing, and publishing papers *Specialty in ceramics or landscape archaeology
*Knowledge of the Islamic or Arabian time period as it relates to archaeology
*Knowledge of pedestrian survey techniques"'
