About the Role

As a dedicated SIU Investigator at USAA, you will play a critical role in protecting our members and the company from potential fraudulent claims. You will investigate questionable claims activity, applying your knowledge of fraud schemes and investigation strategies to ensure compliance with state insurance fraud-related laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Investigate claims activity, gathering evidence and interviewing witnesses to identify potential fraud.
  • Develop and implement fraud prevention strategies to mitigate risk.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to share knowledge and best practices in fraud investigation.
  • Prepare and present detailed investigative reports to stakeholders.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and regulatory changes to ensure compliance.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; 2 years of claims adjusting experience or SIU/Fraud Investigation experience preferred.
  • Proven investigatory skills and ability to work independently.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
