Job Summary

Job Summary

Bakersfield Christian is looking for a dynamic, student centered, teacher supporting, innovative program administrator with knowledge of school operations, best practices in independent learning, and reaching students and families. This position reports directly to the President of Bakersfield Christian High School and will work closely with the Vice President of Academic Growth as directed by the President to develop, implement, and manage alternative educational options for students and families, including but not limited to, online education, satellite extensions, and homeschool hybrids. Duties include: ? Development and implementation of on-line course offerings as part of hybrid alternatives for families seeking to utilize a mix of campuses and resources to fit the unique needs of their students. ? Identify and implement best practices, training, and other resources for professional development related to on-line, hybrid, and satellite campus instruction. ? Assists with supervision and evaluation of certificated and classified personnel assigned to the program. ? Maintain clear communication with the President relating to concerns, activities, and achievements of students and staff. ? Maintain clear communication with students, staff, and parent community, developing strong connections between cohorts and the school community as a whole. ? Manage the process of academic reporting and recording grades and credits for students enrolled in the program. ? Coordinates assessments for all program students including, but not limited to, school mandatedassessments,PSAT andSATs,APtesting. ? Provides leadership in interventions for academic, social, and emotional issues ? Assist with discipline for students within the program. ? Other duties as assigned. Requirements: ?
