The Team:

As part of the S&P Global Market Intelligence (MI) Executive & Operations Support (EOS) organization, the Administrative Assistant works and collaborates across counterparts and stakeholders globally.

Responsibilities and Impact:

The Administrative Assistant provides high-level administrative and operational support to MI Senior leadership, managing day-to-day activities in a timely and accurate manner. In addition, the Administrative Assistant will assist in the support of related division events and programs.

The Administrative Assistant will coordinate resources, improve workflow processes, and maintain collaborative team environments to meet all goals.

  • You will act as a liaison between the executive team and supporting departments to execute all required administrative and operational needs to maximize business workflows.
  • You will maintain best practices and industry standards to provide a leaner, consistent and reliable operational cost structure.
  • You will maintain a central point of record for all related executive information (travel, schedule, preferences, expenses, etc.).
  • Coordinating complex calendars and schedules to ensure effective time management and prioritization of engagements
  • Liaise with EOS Shared Services team in the planning and scheduling of meetings, conferences, teleconferences, and travel
  • Coordinate and support all meeting logistics; includes catering, meeting logistics, meeting materials, etc.
  • Provide support to stakeholders, including coordination of transportation, accommodations, meeting preparation (preparing meeting materials) technical assistance, and virtual platform support as needed
  • Provide historical reference by developing and utilizing filing and retrieval systems, recording meeting discussions
  • Communicate status updates on regular frequency to stakeholders as required
  • Prepare reports by collecting and analyzing information
  • Work collaboratively with various internal departments to establish clear stakeholder expectations to ensure all deliverables are completed on time
  • Maintain accurate and relevant workflow procedures
  • Other administrative duties as required

Compensation/Benefits Information: (This section is only applicable to US candidates)

S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $63,540 to $110,000. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual's geographic location, as well as experience level, skill set, training, licenses, and certifications.

In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive bonus.

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
  • Proven experience in an administrative support role
  • Outstanding organizational and time management skills
  • Comfortable operating in a high-paced environment
  • Ability to multi-task effectively as well as to follow up/manage ongoing projects/issues
  • Ability to work on own initiative in an extremely busy environment where constant reprioritization is required
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, projects, resources, and dependencies in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong and effective problem-solving, analytical, and research skills
  • Excellent teamwork skills, particularly the abilities to continually anticipate emerging issues, and to plan for success.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent and effective organizational and time management skills
  • Proficient in using MS Office, experience with workflow systems, virtual platforms, and experience with Smartsheet a plus
