The Product Specialist for Leica Biosystems is responsible for developing and executing a successful sales strategy for rapid revenue growth and market share expansion in region.

This position is part of the Immunohistochemistry Sales Team located in Eastern PA, MD, VA, DC, NC, and SC and will be based remotely in this territory. At Leica Biosystems, our vistion is to advance cancer diagnostics and improve lives.

You will be part of the Mid-Atlantic team and report to the Sales Manager responsible for driving new business in competitive accounts. If you thrive on closing sales deals and want to work to build a world-class sales organization - read on.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual product sales goals set for the territory
  • Work in coordination with local team
  • Maintain accurate and timely prospect and customer data in SFDC
  • Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction through delivery of sales and support assistance
  • Maintain accurate and timely account strategy and opportunity planning information in SFDC

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • BA/BS Degree with minimum 5 years of relevant sales experience OR equivalent work experience (minimum 7 years).
  • Prior capital sales experience
  • Contract negotiation/high level selling experience or selling in a matrixed environment
  • Ability to travel 75%

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Degree in Life Sciences or Master's Degree in Business/MBA
  • Diagnostics, Life Science and/or Pathology experience preferred
