Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Chemical Production Operator to join our team at Italmatch USA Corporation. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for mixing raw materials to create finished products according to production orders.

Key Responsibilities

Production Operations:

  • Set up and start mixing tanks and blenders to ensure efficient production.
  • Obtain and understand all documentation for making batches, ensuring correct ingredients are used for each batch.
  • Pump and pour chemicals into blend tanks in predetermined quantities.
  • Operate equipment (mixers, scales, meters, pumps, forklifts, etc.) safely and efficiently.

Quality Control and Assurance:

  • Ensure all raw materials returned to inventory have the correct quantity and information on containers and containers are in good condition.
  • Follow lab instructions regarding batch approval, adjustments, and any additional requirements.

Safety and Compliance:

  • Observe safety requirements set forth by the company and report any issues or concerns to the Production Supervisor.
  • Complete all paperwork and batch documentation promptly and accurately.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Ability to read and comprehend written and oral instructions in English, including safety rules, operating procedures, product recipes, and material identification.
  • Mathematical skills to add, subtract, multiply, and divide, with the ability to perform these operations using weight and volume measurements.
  • Ability to manipulate 55-gallon drums of chemicals and powder bags up to 50 lbs.
  • Good troubleshooting skills and ability to drive a forklift (valid certification a plus).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Microsoft Office skills.
  • Experience with SAP.
