Job Summary

The Content Marketing Specialist will play a critical role in the marketing department by leading content marketing efforts to drive traffic, engagement and leads across all marketing channels. This role is an integral part the CEMEX USA marketing team, with an opportunity to support impactful campaigns during a period of marketing growth at CEMEX.

Job Responsibilities
  • Marketing Copywriting: Write, edit and proofread compelling marketing copy to engage, nurture and convert prospects and customers.
  • Inbound Marketing: Work with the Digital Marketing Specialist to create relevant content in support of inbound marketing campaigns.
  • Content Research: Research and analyze targeted audience pain points to curate compelling thought leadership content, while aligning with sales strategy. Using different formats: e.g. use of video, infographics, case studies etc.
  • Cross-channel Content Development: Create high-quality content for all marketing channels—website, email, print, etc.
  • Content Management: Evolve and manage a quality portfolio of marketing collateral and content across all physical and digital channels to support sales, organic growth and generate thought leadership and brand awareness.
  • Content Distribution: Distribute content across internal and external channels to key audiences.
  • Lifecycle Content Marketing: Identify opportunities for content marketing across different stages of the customer lifecycle, including the right content by customer journey
Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of professional experience in digital marketing or marketing required
  • Bachelor of Arts/Science in Marketing, Journalism, English, or relevant experience
  • Agency experience is preferred
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Copywriting
  • Inbound marketing background
  • Basic editing and proofreading skills
  • Working conditions

  • Capable of working in an open concept office environment.
Physical Requirements
  • Requires walking, sitting, lifting, pushing, pulling, and climbing to a significant degree
  • Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently
  • Job involves sitting most of the time, but also involves walking or standing for brief periods of time
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear, in order to communicate to employees/visitors
