The ideal candidate will possess a deep passion for writing and storytelling, coupled with a journalistic approach and a keen focus on content performance, management, and analytics. This position will report directly to the CEO.

The Creative Content Specialist will be responsible for the strategy, development, and execution of all digital content while continuously analyzing and refining our approach. Key responsibilities include:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain a content strategy that ensures the regular publication of impactful content that drives revenue and significantly influences sales.
  • Produce a minimum of three new written pieces of content weekly.
  • Conduct interviews with internal experts to gather insights for content creation.
  • Edit, proofread, and enhance the contributions of other writers.
  • Oversee the company's email marketing initiatives, including newsletters and automated campaigns.
  • Leverage AI tools to enhance the efficiency of the content creation process, including generating and refining new content, assessing content performance, and optimizing distribution.
  • Collaborate closely with the sales team to identify relevant content topics and develop an editorial calendar.
  • Utilize content analytics and reporting to guide strategic decisions.
  • Lead search engine optimization (SEO) efforts for our website and content.
  • Create high-quality content, such as ebooks, pillar pages, and other resources aimed at converting our audience.
  • Share content through social media channels to foster community engagement and promote long-term visibility.
  • Engage in professional development and continuous learning in relevant fields (e.g., content technology, HubSpot certifications, writing skills).

Qualifications:
  • A degree in English, Journalism, or Public Relations is preferred but not mandatory; relevant experience will be considered.
  • A genuine passion for writing.
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills, with a strong command of the English language.
  • Familiarity with common editorial style guides, such as AP Style and the Chicago Manual of Style.
  • Ability to clearly articulate the business objectives behind content creation.
  • Experience with AI tools like ChatGPT, Claude, Llama, etc.
  • Strong project management skills to oversee editorial timelines and deadlines.
  • Understanding of AI's role in marketing, including its application in content creation, predictive analytics, customer behavior, and machine learning for content targeting.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with tools such as HubSpot, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEMRush.
  • Strong interviewing skills and a curious, attentive listener.
  • Ability to use data to inform strategic decisions.
  • Ability to give and receive constructive feedback.
  • A collaborative team-oriented mindset.
  • Bonus: Experience with HubSpot, and training in print or broadcast journalism.
