Job Description:

Parsons is seeking a Civil /Construction Inspector. The successful candidate will conduct daily inspections to determine contract adherence and conformance with contract specifications.

Perform construction inspection assignments or site visits of on-going tunnel and shaft construction work and related activities.

  • Work in conjunction with project other CM staff
  • Maintain diaries and photographs to document daily construction activities
  • Complete daily reports
  • Assist claims management
  • Be familiar and be able to monitor the contractor work for compliance with contract specifications, safety and environmental legislation
  • Monitor and enforce punch list completion and resolve all open items in a timely matter

A combination of the following education experience is required:

  • Experience in underground construction including tunnel excavation, concrete works, and, and QA/QC experience is required.
  • Degree or Diploma in Construction Management or Civil Engineering, and/or 3+ years of underground field experience and/or heavy construction.
  • Ability and desire to work at project site on a 24/7 schedule. Assignment can be on made on on 1st, 2nd or 3rd shift depending on project needs.
