Acadiana CARES, in conjunction with the Louisiana Department of Health STD/HIV/ Hepatitis
Program is currently recruiting TWO individuals to work with newly diagnosed persons providing
assistance into accessing medical care. Additionally, the successful candidates will provide
treatment adherence services to persons with HIV (PWH) who have fallen out of care and need
re-engagement back into care. Job applicants must have great communication skills and a
willingness to work with a diverse group of people and community-based supportive services so
that the most successful outcomes are achieved for the citizens of Louisiana.

Requirements:
Excellent skills in community engagement; as well as, a general knowledge of HIV, HCV, and/or
STIs, case management, transmission, treatment adherence, health education and risk reduction.
Participate in team policy and procedure development.
Bachelors in a social science or human related field. Two (2) years of social service experience
working with vulnerable populations.

Preferred: Masters preferred with two (2) years of social service experience working with
vulnerable populations.
