Sr. Maintenance Tech (Instrumentation)

About the Role
As a Sr. Maintenance Tech (Instrumentation), you will play a crucial role in the detailed operation of our manufacturing equipment. Responsible for performing instrumentation work at a technical level, fixing and recommending preventive action, and assisting in the support of the overall PM/calibration program. In addition, you will repair circuit boards and mechanical systems to ensure the smooth functioning of our steriles manufacturing operation.
Responsibilities
- Repair various systems, components, and equipment using written instructions, sketches, plans, diagrams, or oral descriptions.
- Document conditions, actions, procedures, and results of work, tests, or inspections performed.
- Review and resolve priority of multiple repairs, completing them in a manner that best suits the manufacturing organization.
- Maintain and upgrade technical and non-technical skills through training programs.
- Follow department work schedules, shifts, call-ins, and overtime.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area and equipment.
- Associate's degree in Electronics/Electrical, Instrumentation Technology, Engineering, or other applicable technical degrees preferred. Equivalent experience in these fields will also be considered.
- Minimum educational requirement includes a high school diploma or equivalent experience.
- 2-3 years of instrumentation experience and/or electrical/electronics experience, or equivalent experience, with a high school diploma.
- 0-1 year of instrumentation experience or electrical/electronics experience with an Associate's degree or equivalent experience.
- Pharmaceutical experience is a plus.
- Proficiency in the use of highly technical diagnostic and test equipment.
- Strong problem analysis, planning, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to read and comprehend blueprints, manuals, and training materials.
- Partnership and collaboration abilities.
