Aircraft Field Support Engineer Staff, F-35 Program Specialist

This is a challenging opportunity for a skilled Aircraft Field Support Engineer Staff to join our team at Lockheed Martin. As a key member of our technical interface team, you will be responsible for resolving issues arising from maintenance and modification activities for the F-35 aircraft.
Key Responsibilities- Attend debriefings to identify emerging issues and provide rapid solutions to avoid aircraft downtime.
- Provide training to subcontractor personnel and work with maintainers and engineers from other F-35 companies as a peer.
- Document unusual operational and maintenance problems to support identifying emerging failure trends.
- Initiate Action Requests (ARs) and identify unique operational problems requiring technical, procedural, or quality assurance actions.
- Provide on-site assistance and training to Sub-contractor and customer personnel initiating ARs.
- Participate in the development and integration of improved capability and cost-saving initiatives.
- Work other shifts, including weekends, as needed to support depot schedule requirements.
- Investigate and analyze operational sustainment requirements and problems to identify and recommend solutions.
- Provide support for assigned site on aircraft ground maintenance and operational limitations.
- Lead and track multiple engineering efforts and provide periodic status to site manager and Mod Tech Lead (MTL).
- Minimum 7 years' experience with Vehicle Systems (APG) and/or Mission Systems (Avionics) on F-22 or F-35 aircraft.
- Military aircraft maintenance experience.
- Active Secret Security Clearance and US Citizenship.
- Valid U.S. passport.
- Technical Report writing.
- Experience with drawing/schematics reading and interpretation.
- Fault Isolation and problem analysis experience at the sub-system level.
- Airframe & Power plant (A&P) license.
- Military Fighter Aircraft experience.
- Knowledge of CATIA & System/Software Engineering Environment (S/SEE).
- Previous Field Service FSE/REP experience.
- Previous Field Service Engineer (FSE) or Depot experience.
- Fault Isolation and problem analysis experience at the sub-system level.
- Aircraft operations, maintenance, or depot experience.
- Familiarity with maintenance planning and aircraft modifications.
- Experience fostering customer relationships.
- Engineering Environment (S/SEE).
- Previous Field Service FSE/REP experience.
- Prior experience with international customers or subcontractors.
