Your Key Responsibilities:

Lead the full lifecycle of design projects as a player-coach, ensuring high-quality deliverables on time and within budget. Develop and oversee a 3 year digital design strategy aligned with company goals and client needs. Grow and coach a team of designers on high quality work, design delivery approach, standards and best practices in a collaborative environment.Estimate new work, emphasizing the importance of process rigor and systems thinking in each new engagement. Champion user research and the user journey to bring strategic insights to clients and internal teams. Partner with senior leadership to create strategies for impact on client engagements. Drive innovation by creating new design-focused specialty offerings at UDig. Contribute to innovative internal UDig projects.

What You'll Need:

Core Competencies:

Expertise leading design practices and influencing strategic decisions. Proven problem-solving skills, guiding the development of solutions for complex challenges. Ability to drive impactful projects and initiatives, achieving exceptional client satisfaction. Strong executive influence and consultative skills to manage client projects and drive business growth.

Skills & Qualifications:

7-10+ years of design experience with digital products, blending UI and UX. 3-5+ years of experience leading and developing teams in a professional services organization with the ability to drive results around utilization, margin, and employee engagement. Previous consulting experience with a consulting firm or professional services firm, including contributions to thought leadership and pre-sales support, is required. Excellent communication, executive presence, and interpersonal skills to
Build strong partnerships with client stakeholders and senior leadership.Present technical ideas and high-level concepts to internal and external team members with varying degrees of technical knowledge. Proficiency in UX design process, evidence-based design thinking, championing the user, and hands-on experience producing high-fidelity graphic and UI designs in Figma.Bachelor's degree in graphic design, interaction design, computer science, or related field.
