Job Summary

CarSaver Management LLC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of People Operations to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to build and maintain a positive and inclusive organizational culture.

Key Responsibilities
  • Organizational Culture & Internal Communication:
    • Assist in planning and executing staff gatherings and retreats to foster a sense of community and teamwork.
    • Develop and implement strategies to build a positive and supportive organizational culture.
    • Manage internal communications related to HR policies, performance management, and general operations.
    • Maintain the organization's annual calendar.
  • Hiring & Onboarding:
    • Design, manage, and support efforts to recruit, select, and hire diverse talent and expertise staff.
    • Develop and coordinate all aspects of employee onboarding and offboarding, including liaising with outside vendors to enroll in benefits and subscriptions.
  • Staff Learning & Development:
    • Manage the annual employee performance review process.
    • Manage staff development and training opportunities and processes that support our mission and values.
    • Develop, implement, and manage a company-wide mentorship program.
    • Work with leadership to design and execute consistent and effective management training across the organization.
  • HR Administration & Compliance:
    • Work with the General Counsel and outside firms to ensure compliance with federal and state legislation pertaining to all personnel matters.
    • Administer and communicate HR policies, procedures, and directives to staff.
    • Annually review and make recommendations to executive leadership for improvement of the organization's policies, procedures, and practices on personnel matters.
    • Work with senior leadership to establish a competitive and fiscally responsible benefit, compensation, and leave program.
    • Track and document all employment changes and required employee compliance activities.
    • Oversee and manage the Human Resource Generalist position.
    • Ensure all staff have job descriptions consistent with their responsibilities.
    • Oversee employee time-tracking and related reporting.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Professional designation (SHRM, PHR, CPTD) preferred.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in developing and maintaining a healthy organizational culture in an entrepreneurial, growth-oriented environment.
  • Extensive experience with traditional human resource management.
  • Knowledge of State & Federal laws affecting human resources administration.
  • Knowledge of human resource management best practices and current employment/retention trends.
  • Ability to effectively and independently help staff navigate employment questions and HR matters.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to communicate professionally with outside vendors.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and inclusively with staff at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to plan and prioritize work activities, complete work in a timely, accurate, and thorough manner.
  • Ability to take ownership and be creative and solutions-oriented when encountering challenges.
  • Demonstrated commitment to bringing an equity lens to the hiring process.
  • Ability to handle sensitive HR situations with discretion.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Sense of humor and a flexible, positive attitude.
Compensation & Benefits

Salary range for this position is $95,000 - $105,000. Exact compensation package is commensurate with experience. Our excellent benefits package includes health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, a 401(k) match, generous paid vacation and sick leave, an employee vehicle purchase plan, and more. We also offer employees the ability to purchase voluntary long-term disability and life insurance at excellent rates.
